I received this book from the author for an honest review.I must say I was really impressed with the quality and content in this manual. It is a quick read that takes only a day or two to read, with practical guidelines for young people and students finding their way in the world. And I love the author's goal, as a young man he's not only speaking what he believes but doing it; making him a good role model in achieving his own dreams. I think it will do us good to remember his name in the future.
It's a step by step guide that touches every part of a personal fulfilled life. A to-the-point, easy-to-read journal that guides you with practical advice, explaining each topic with flair. Subjects like Energy, Health, Relationships, Wealth, Philosophy, Responsibility, Keys of success and mastery, Skills, Habits, 80/20 Principle, Goal setting and many more, are discussed. It's well explained in a short chapter and easy to understand and follow. There were even a few things I've learned while reading the book; things I'll practice in my own life, this is really a practical book for all students of life and a great advantage for younger people that I can recommend.
The lay out is well-defined and color-coded, each subject easy to find when you want to refer back to something specific. The quotes in the beginning of each chapter are relevant, taken from men that have proven themselves over the years. Well researched with practical tips. This book is the beginning of your journey, acquiring the knowledge to be the best you can be and go after your dreams and goals in life. I like what he said at the end:
"As you may have noticed, there were no magic pills, instead there were fundamental principles which, when applied, can have a dramatic effect on the quality of your life. To see results it requires not only action, but consistency as well – I can’t stress that enough, I’ve failed at the wall of consistency before, and it’s not nice."
Every chapter closes with a summary, leaving you with key notes that you can think upon while working or taking a breather from the day. Easy to remember keys that can unlock a world for you.
Well done Nick, this was such an honor to read and review the book. I wish you all the best in life and with the book.

The Student Manual A Guide to Success eBook Nicholas Goodall Reviews
I was sent this book for review and found it informative and interesting because it does address the idea of being 'successful' from many angles, including the need for good health, the kinds of foods that are beneficial and how to balance finances, for example.
It does focus on the need of a positive attitude and how to approach and deal with other people - sound advice and common sense.
Whether or not this advice would work for everyone, it's difficult to say, however maybe it's worth a try, at the very least to gain confidence in this competitive world.
The Student Manual by Nicholas Goodall is a short solid book for students and those who are trying to find a way to succeed in the post-college world. It is a very quick read and will most likely be read cover to cover well within two days. The advice in the book is practical although not unique. It is essentially yet another manual for success that provides the same basic advice (health, relationships, responsibility, good habits, etc). As a student myself there is information in this book that will be helpful to success even if the guide is more of a reminder of advice already given than a new methodology to reach full potential.
The book would be good for high-school graduates or current college students. There are inspirational quotes, advice, practical guidelines and short exercises to keep focus or develop attention span. There isn’t really any problem with the book but it isn’t anything unique either. It’s simply timeless solid advice.

You go to college or university and think you are going to ace exams perfectly, get straight "A"s. But one moment you discover, that you are in a slump... Your failures cause you stress. The junk- and comfort food often enters your mouth. There's this constant lack of money, too. But at the same time you dream about the great success, which locates in the mysterious land "Tomorrow".
But, yay, "The Student Manual" has come to your rescue. It helps you to achieve your desired success. It covers 4 areas of life health, wealth, relationships and (study) skills. In the book introduction, author makes a promise, that "the content is dense and fluff-free." I think the author has kept his promise. Every topic contains simple, but powerful tips for being successful. But you have to know, that tips in the book work, when you put these tips into practice. YOU have the biggest role in achieving your own goals. This book makes you aware about the tips and tricks, but YOU have to USE them. Really.
I could take a look on a physical copy of "The Student Manual", which I am glad about. Firstly, I liked the cover. My favorite color is green, and with the green cover, "The Student Manual" earned some bonus points from me. Every topic has its own color, too. The text is airy, and it's comfortable to read. When you have read the book and want to reread some parts again, they are easy to find.
I had expected "Skills" being first topic of the book. It was last, instead. Nobody obliges you to read the book linearly, though, but I am used to doing so. But the topics flowed in a logical order, if I started to think. It's hard to focus on studying, when you are sick, and there's a wind howling in your wallet. It's not nice, either, when you are in a constant fight with everybody. But yeah, read first whatever you want. Be a rebel, don't be a creature of habit, like I am. And then put these tips into practice.
Author has done lots of an amazing job and put together this useful collection. You don't have to waste time and read unnecessary information in order to grasp the most useful ideas. But I assume, that the author must've found some great resources, like books, webpages, or articles, while doing his research for this book. I would've been happy to see some references for additional readings in the end of every topic, or the book.
There was this inspirational dedication in my book, too "Don't learn to fill a bucket, learn to light a fire!" Thank you, I'll try to keep this in mind! "The Student Manual" is going to be my A&O and my inspiration on my way.
-I received a physical review copy in exchange for an honest review.
